Bali Retreat
September 2026
13 – 21 September · Amed & Canggu · First edition
A marks a full coaching day with Bagoes Adam. Pick-up times are in terracotta and mean the moment the car leaves. Anything marked TBC is confirmed in the WhatsApp group the evening before. Tap a day to open it.
Where you are eating
Breakfast is at your accommodation every morning. The lunches and dinners below are hosted by the retreat. Drinks, and anything ordered outside the group menu, are settled directly.

Two free evenings, on purpose
Thursday in Amed and Sunday in Canggu have no group dinner. After a week of eating together, an evening off is the point — not an oversight.
How you move, where you stay
Two coasts, two ways of getting around.
13 – 18 September. The courts are ten minutes on foot, five by scooter.
19 – 20 September. A short Gojek ride from PickleBali's indoor courts.
Court fees and balls are covered for the whole week.
Three full days in Amed, plus two clinics with the PickleBali team in Canggu.
The four guests plus JJ, Arnaud, Alexia, Benok and Alban from the local club. Two courts, four to a court, one player rotating out each round.
Amed — Yuda picks you up
7:45 AM and 2:45 PM at the hotel door on every coaching day. Be outside five minutes before — a pick-up time is when the car leaves, not when you start looking for your shoes. Running late? Message Yuda directly rather than the group; he is the one waiting.
Canggu — no fixed pick-ups
The town runs on Gojek. Alban is with you the whole time and sorts the rides, so there is nothing to book and nothing to remember.
Keep these on your phone
Screenshot this page before you fly — it works without signal that way.
Jl. I Ketut Natih, Dsn. Seloni, Ds. Culik (Amed), Kec. Abang, Karangasem 80852. First stop for anything that isn't life-threatening.
Jl. Teuku Umar No. 120, Denpasar 80114. Three hours from Amed, twenty-five minutes from Canggu.
Save your policy number and your insurer's 24-hour assistance line next to these. They are the two things you will not be able to find at the moment you need them.
Six things, then you're done
All of it online, all of it quick. Do the entry paperwork in the week before you fly.
- Pay the balance. USD 1,260, due 6 September 2026. Details are on your invoice.
- Take out travel insurance — and send Alban the proof. Mandatory. It must cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, and both sport and water activities. Australia has no reciprocal healthcare agreement with Indonesia.
- Return your Registration & Health Declaration and your Liability Waiver. Signed, both of them, before you fly.
- Sort your entry into Indonesia. e-VOA, All Indonesia arrival card, Bali tourist levy — the three links below.
- Send your flight details to the WhatsApp group. Arrival and departure: date, time, flight number. Yuda builds his schedule from these.
- Check your passport. Six months' validity from your arrival date, and in good physical condition — Indonesian immigration does turn away damaged passports.
Getting into Indonesia
evisa.imigrasi.go.id 2 · Arrival card & customs All Indonesia Free · within 72 hours of your flight. One form now covers immigration, customs and health. Keep the QR code on your phone.
allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id 3 · Tourist levy Love Bali IDR 150,000 · once per entry. Pay online before you travel; the airport counters exist but the queue is not a good use of your first hour.

At the airport
Have four things ready on your phone before you land: e-VOA, All Indonesia QR, Love Bali QR, and Yuda's number. Denpasar arrivals is chaotic by design. Walk past everyone offering you a taxi — Yuda will be waiting with a sign, and he has your flight number.
